A musical journey through the world, but it all started in our living room: in 2018, Eva Freitag shot a trailer at HENRI Berlin for her novel “Septakkord”. The mutual affection now continues - this time, in music. With Eva, HENRI can immerse itself in the world of the violoncello, listening to the fine tunes and dreaming away life’s worries.
Eva (and her cello) have already made it far in the orchestras and concert halls of the world. She has been on the road for 10 years - and on stage in more than 50 countries. As a solo cellist in orchestras, she traveled on musical paths to Europe, South America, Asia and Africa. Solo performances followed. What adventures she had! From 2006 to 2008, she decided to teach music to Palestinian children in the West Bank and in refugee camps, including with Daniel Barenboim.
She is now bringing her stories to HENRI - tales of her funny, bizarre and sometimes hard to believe experiences - combined with special musical arrangements on the cello.
Come by and tune in!
