Some of the most famous hiking trails can be found at the Kitzbüheler Horn or around the Hahnenkamm mountain world. For hiking beginners there are guided hikes and trekking tours in all levels of difficulty.

In Kitzbühel you will find some of the best golf courses in Europe, including the Golfclub Kitzbühel-Schwarzsee and the Golfclub Eichenheim. Another highlight is the Golf Festival Kitzbühel in summer.

If you want to take advantage of the low season in spring and autumn, the mountain bike is your friend. It's not too hot and not too cold and the hiking and trekking trails are almost empty – perfect for a mountain tour. The Kitzbühel mountain railroads transport you and your bike comfortably up the mountain and you're ready to go!

Kitzbühel is not a prominent ski resort for nothing, with over 200 kilometers of slopes and 57 lifts. It is also host to the famous Hahnenkamm run, considered one of the most challenging ski runs in the world.
