Cross-country skiing

The Seefeld region is a true cross-country skiing paradise. More than 245 prepared kilometres of trails for different training levels await you. The entire cross-country skiing routes are uniformly and clearly signposted. Information signs inform about kilometre details, degree of difficulty, altitude profile and further trails. Due to its geographical location, the region is considered one of the most snow-sure areas in Tyrol and the cross-country skiing season starts as early as November.

In addition to excellently prepared cross-country ski trails against a beautiful natural backdrop, Seefeld also offers a unique cross-country skiing service. The specially trained staff provide winter sports enthusiasts with information about cross-country trails and refreshment stops. On your skis, get set - start your cross-country adventure with HENRI.

Skiing

Rich in tradition and family-friendly – that's what the Seefeld ski area stands for. Spend your skiing holiday at the HENRI Hotel and look forward to sunny and perfectly groomed slopes with a fantastic mountain panorama. 26 kilometres of pistes and around 34 cable cars and lifts offer ski newbies and pros a varied skiing experience.

During the lunch break, the cosy mountain huts will spoil you with Alpine delicacies such as Kaiserschmarrn or Schnitzel. Discover the ski areas of the Alpine region and experience an unforgettable winter holiday with HENRI.

Winter hiking

Snowy winter landscapes, snow-covered peaks and the tranquillity of nature – enjoy all this on a winter hike in the Tyrolean Alps. Leave your footprints in the snow while snowshoeing, long-distance hiking or on a leisurely winter walk.

With a bit of luck, the sun will appear in the winter sky and beautify your winter hike. Then maybe a little stopover in a rustic hut and the winter experience á la HENRI is perfect.

Tobogganing

When was the last time you sped down the slope on a toboggan? In Seefeld you can relive childhood memories on the natural toboggan runs. First, of course, there's the ascent, but then it's a rapid descent down the slope.

Since the sledge or toboggan doesn't necessarily fit in your hand luggage, of course, there are numerous toboggan rental points in Seefeld. Whether alone or in pairs - let yourself be infected by toboggan fever on your next winter holiday. HENRI is already infected ;-)

Ice skating and curling

If you love ice skating, Seefeld is the place to be. Only a few minutes away from the HENRI Seefeld there is an ice skating rink and a curling rink at the Seekirchl and the congress centre. Another ice shooting rink is located on the Wiesenweg.

Depending on the weather and ice conditions, the ice rink at Lake Möserer is also open to the public for skating at weekends in winter. Unfortunately, there is no skate rental service on site.

Biathlon

Biathlon is an exciting winter sport with a combination of cross-country skiing and sport shooting. The modern biathlon venue in Seefeld is located in the World Championships Arena, where the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2019 have taken place.

A special feature is that the biathlon arena is also open to amateur athletes who want to try their hand at the sport! With real small-bore rifles and, if you wish, skis or ski rollers, you have the opportunity to get a taste of biathlon. Let's go.
